    AIRBUS UK BROUGHTON: FEBRUARY REVIEW

The month of February saw just two matches for Airbus, matchdays 23 and 24 of the JD Cymru North division.

They first travelled South to ninth placed Penrhyncoch on 12th February before hosting Llanidloes on the final day of the month.

    PENRHYNCOCH (A)

The visit to Penrhyncoch saw The Wingmakers drop points for the second time in just three matches, as they drew 1-1 with the hosts.

Penrhyncoch took the lead in the 59th minute, following an uneventful first half, before constant pressure from The Wingmakers allowed them to equalise just 11 minutes later through tricky winger Ryan Edwards.

The visitors kept applying the pressure but it was not meant to be, as they dropped two points away from home.

    LLANIDLOES TOWN (H)

If there was ever a way to make a statement following a disappointing draw, this was it.

Airbus dominated the ball from start to finish, and could have been two or three up inside eight minutes, if not for the heroics of visiting goalkeeper Luke Evans.

It took until the 19th minute before the deadlock was broken, Adam Davies curling home his 27th goal of the campaign.

The chances kept flowing for Airbus, who were unlucky not to score more, until Davies got his second of the game on the stroke of half-time.

Twenty minutes into the second half, Airbus had their deserved third goal, this time Jake Eyre was there to tap home from two yards out.

PLAYER OF THE MONTH: RYAN EDWARDS

A fantastic month for Ryan Edwards saw him save Airbus from defeat thanks to his goal against Penrhyncoch.

The number of chances he created against Llanidloes would have seen him grab three or four assists on another day
