Bangor City Withdraw From The JD Cymru North. What This Means For Airbus UK Broughton

It had been expected since their issues became clear in November, but three time Welsh champions Bangor City have withdrawn themselves from the JD Cymru North, and all Cymru leagues.

They had previously been warned by league authorities that if they did not pay outstanding fines, they would be forced out of the JD Cymru North.

They had until Saturday (19th February) to pay the fines, that came as a result of not paying staff wages, but it has been announced today that they will no longer be part of the league.

As a result of their expulsion, all points earned against The Citizens will be wiped from the history books.

Airbus only managed to pick up one point against Bangor earlier in the season, losing their other fixture, meaning that they will be deducted just one point.

Llandudno, who sit second in the league, will be deducted three points, due to the win they picked up in August.
