Airbus UK Broughton have maintained their three point lead at the top of the JD Cymru North division, beating seaside team Colwyn Bay at Llanelian Road.
The game saw an impressive first-half brace from Jake Eyre effectively seal the three points before the interval, and Beau Cornish's deflected shot midway through the second 45 ensured successive 3-0 victories for The Wingmakers.

The hosts began the game brightly, controlling possession over Airbus, creating a number of chances, most notably when Samuel Jones hit the side netting of Lewis Dutton's near post.
After an uncertain opening five minutes, Airbus began to try and take the game to Colwyn Bay, making it an end-to-end encounter, with Beau Cornish coming closest for The Bus, seeing his shot saved by Andrew Coughlin on the six minute mark.

On nineteen minutes, Airbus defender Gaz Edwards was brought down late after an attempt on goal, leading to referee John Jones awarding a penalty.
Eyre stepped up from the spot and fired the ball into the net, making it 1-0 to Airbus.
Ten minutes later, the Chester born winger made it a brace, his effort from inside the box finding the top corner, leaving Coughlin rooted to the spot.
Colwyn Bay, at 2-0 down, still played to their energetic standards, Craig Lindfield coming closest on 35 minutes when his glancing header was parried away by Dutton.
A quiet second half saw much of the game be played in midfield, a stark contrast from the end-to-end action witnessed in the first half.
Beau Cornish settled the tie in the 76th minute when his deflected shot from the edge of the box found its way into the back of the net.
Airbus next play host to local rivals Buckley Town on Saturday 12th March, hoping to keep their three point advantage at the top of the table over Llandudno, who play Colwyn Bay on Friday evening.
TALKING POINT
Going into Saturday's game, Airbus had kept just seven clean sheets in 20 league matches this season.
However, successive clean sheets for just the second time this season have seen them now be the second best side defensively this campaign, and with their attacking threat being so strong, things are looking extremely positive for Steve O'shaughnessy's men.

MAN OF THE MATCH
Jake Eyre (Airbus Broughton). The winger continued his impressive form in 2022 against Colwyn Bay, making it double figures for goals for the season. He caused a headache for the opposition back line all game and was unlucky not to score a hattrick.

KEY STAT
Airbus have now scored 70 league goals this campaign, which is 20 more than any other side in the division.
Their ruthless nature, coupled with a low number of goals conceded, is one of the many reasons that they are expected to win this season's JD Cymru North division title.
