Airbus UK Broughton play host to Gresford Athletic on Friday afternoon, knowing that once the match is completed, they will lift the JD Cymru North title.
Being fully focused on the match may be hard for The Wingmakers, but it is essential if they want to end the season strongly, and enter the next campaign with real belief in themselves.
Airbus
The champions had an unbelievable time last time out, with youngster Brady McGilloway scoring the title winning goal in the 96th minute, in his first match of the season.
Now that he has recovered from his long-term injury, McGilloway will be hoping to be rewarded with a start in the match against Gresford and kick on for the rest of the season.
One player who will, sadly, not be playing in the match on Friday is Adam Davies.
The striker broke his tibia and fibula against Llandudno in the title win, and will be unavailable for selection for the foreseeable future.
Davies is expected to be in the stands during the match to support the side and will be part of the group that lift the division title.
Lewis Dutton has been a constant in the Airbus starting eleven this season, but with the title now sown up, January signing Matt Busby may be in with a shout of receiving his first competitive start for The Wingmakers.
Gresford
Gresford Athletic find themselves eleventh in the table, with nothing to play for during the rest of the campaign.
They have no worries of finishing near the bottom, but will not challenge for any of the top spaces.
The third lowest goal scorers in the league, either Busby or Dutton should have no issues in keeping a clean-sheet when they come to town this weekend.
On the other hand, they have the best defensive record of any side in the bottom eight, and have conceded less goals than sixth placed Colwyn Bay, meaning the absence of Adam Davies for Airbus might be seen in this match, as The Wingmakers could struggle to score.
