Lewis Dutton is Airbus’ number one choice goalkeeper having finished the season on 24 Cymru North league appearances.
Dutton has an impressive win percentage of 75% at the club which just goes to show the importance of the shot stopper for the Wingmakers.
Lewis joined Airbus earlier this season, signing from National League North side, Chorley Town.
His only previous experience in men’s football was at Midland Football League side, Whitchurch Alport FC, where he spent time on loan in the 2020/21 season.
The entirety of Dutton’s football education came at Welsh Champions TNS, where he was on their books for a total of nine seasons.
He has proved to be a fan favourite and when not keeping clean sheets, he is often found taking photos with adoring fans!
The Bus’ number 13, despite only being twenty years of age, is a commanding figure in between the sticks and has the confidence to bark orders at long-time pros such as club captain, Steve Tomasson and Gaz Edwards.
There have been many important players in Airbus’ title winning side and Dutton is very much towards the top of the list.
