It is set to be another big game for the JD Cymru North league leaders on Saturday as the Wingmakers host the Daffodils.

Airbus UK Broughton manager Steve O’Shaughnessy knows it will be another difficult challenge to get three points on Saturday against what will be a reliant Llanidloes Town. O’Shaughnessy expects the side fighting at the lower end of the table for survival are going to be desperate to get something from The Hollingsworth group stadium.

It is expected by the Wingmakers gaffer that the Daffodils will come up to Broughton and defend for their lives.

“Penrhyncoch were in the same position two weeks ago and they gave us a good game so, it will be the same this time.

“The team will come up here and shut up shop.

“We have got to try and break them down and make sure we are fully at it.”

The Wrexham born man looks back at game in Mid-Wales with respect for how well the Roosters played two weeks ago and realises the point was still earned.

He said, “They (Penrhyncoch) did well at home, the conditions were awful, it was just one of those days. To be fair they defended well, and we came away with a point.

“We took one, so we didn’t get defeated.”

Even though Airbus are three points in from Llandudno with a game in hand, after the Seasiders were deducted a point due to Bangor City’s demise, O’Shaughnessy sees Saturday as another big game to keep Sean Eardley’s side at bay.

“If they (Llandudno) win and we lose they go above us, it doesn’t make a difference. We just got to concentrate on our games now and go fully out at it.

“We will be trying to get the three points, we know Llandudno are right behind us, we have to stay ahead of them, work hard and hopefully come away with the win.”
