AIRBUS UK BROUGHTON: TEAM OF THE SEASON: MIDFIELD

Continuing with our Airbus UK Broughton Team of the Season, here are the four midfielders that have made the cut...

RIGHT MIDFIELD: JAKE EYRE

Jake Eyre, who has started in 20 JD Cymru North games this season, has displayed incredible performances, most notably following the mid-season break, where he kicked on and scored a memorable double against Colwyn Bay.

He has ended the season with 14 goal involvements in his 20 appearances, meaning he was involved with a goal every 97 minutes that he was on the pitch.

Jake will now look to kick on in the JD Cymru Premier Division.

CENTRAL MIDFIELD: BEAU CORNISH

On loan from the Premier Division champions The New Saints, Beau Cornish has shown his true quality this season, and it is clear to see why his parent club will be so keen to keep hold of him next season.

His tall frame allows him to compete in the midfield well, whilst his long and short passing ability is second to none at the club.

It is without doubt that Steve O'Shaughnessy would love to have Beau at the club next season, so a second loan for the twenty year old may not be out of the question.

CENTRAL MIDFIELD: JOE PALMER

Alongside Cornish this season, youngster Joe Palmer has risen his game and maturity to fit right into the midfield for Steve's side.

A versatile player, who can fill in at center back when needed, Palmer has provided a solid base upon which Airbus can attack this season, whilst protecting the defence when needed.

LEFT MIDFIELD: Ryan Edwards

Ever present in Steve O'Shaughnessy's side this season, Ryan Edwards has proven to be one of, if not the, most consistent players in the division.

At 33 years of age, Ryan is out working, out pacing and out playing opposition ten years his junior and is rightfully recognised as one of the most talented players in the league.

Keep an eye on The Wingmakers Writer website, as this afternoon we will go through the forwards who have made the Airbus Team of the Season, although we think you can probably guess who they will be.
