JD Cymru North Preview: Holywell Town vs Airbus UK Broughton

Following their 4-2 victory over Gresford Athletic, Airbus UK Broughton lifted the JD Cymru North title and the team spirit has never been higher.

However, they now face the tough task of Holywell Town away from home on Monday, knowing that the pressure is off, but will still be expected to put in a display that impresses manager Steve O'Shaughnessy.

Airbus

The Wingmakers, who have lost just one match all season, may be tired from the parties on Friday night, and may risk the hangover of the celebrations when they travel to Holywell on Monday.

It will be crucial for Airbus to start strong and control possession from the offset, denying Holywell any hope of an upset. Should they score early, The Bus should kick on and put the game to bed within the first 45 minutes, in a similar way to the way they played against Gresford.

One player that impressed in the match on Good Friday was Nathan Brown.

The tricky winger has struggled with injuries at times this season, but has stepped up every single time he has stepped foot on the pitch.

Brownie picked up three goals and an assist last time out, showing that he has what it takes to fill the shoes of Adam Davies.

Should he remain fit, Brown will be a crucial part of O'Shaughnessy's side next season, and is expected to start and impress against Holywell.

Right sided winger Jake Eyre is available for selection once again, following his suspension for the red card he picked up in the 4-1 win against Llanrhaeadr.

Holywell

Monday's hosts find themselves fourth in the JD Cymru North and have had an impressive season so far.

They have the second best attack in the division, meaning that the likes of Lewis Dutton,Steve Tomassen and Gaz Edwards must be on the top of their game in order to keep them out if they want to preserve their clean sheet.

Holywell have conceded 33 goals so far this campaign, the worst out of the top four, so a high action, end-to-end, high scoring match could be on the cards when the two sides clash on bank holiday Monday.
