National Lottery initiative offers fans chance to watch Llandudno game free of charge

Airbus UK Broughton are set to participate in the National Lottery's 'Football Weekend' where lottery players can watch the clubs potential title decider against Llandudno FC for free when entering with an already paying friend.

The hope behind the initiative is to entice fans along to the game with hope they will catch the Airbus bug and want to return.

Matchday Programmes will be available to purchase as well as the Wings Club Broughton bar being open before and after kick off. All of this will allow the club to increase revenue streams and contribute massively towards next seasons budget.

Since the start of the pandemic, the National Lottery has committed £12,500,000 to clubs in the UK to help ease the financial burden of paying fixed payments during a time when little to no money was being made by clubs.

The continued support of the Lottery post-pandemic is a gigantic help to clubs like Airbus. If only 10% of newly entering fans come back for a future match day, then that would go down as a great success.
